Sole Engineer in United States

Summary

Seeking a hands-on, experienced Sole Engineer for a 42m private/charter M/Y. Y3 ticket required.

Vessel is currently doing a shipyard period in South Florida.

  Vessel is based in South Florida/Fort Lauderdale in-between seasons. Position would suit someone that has a home base in Fort Lauderdale. You would be able to go home at night when in port but would need close by and also stand your watch.

  Caribbean winter/New England summers. Charters booked for summer and winter months.

  B1/B2 visa in hand, STCW, ENG1, Y3 license or equivalate

  Salary: 10k per month - DOE

Leave: 1 month ( for the first year). Extra time off w/o pay when possible-

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
