Position Overview:
Following Seas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Stewardess for our client, a 125ft foreign-flagged yacht. This temporary assignment is ideal for a candidate with at least one season of experience in yachting, exceptional hospitality skills, and the ability to cater to diverse guest preferences in the luxurious environment of a yacht.
As part of the interior team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to the owner, guests, and crew. Your duties will include housekeeping, meal service, and maintaining a pristine environment throughout the yacht. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional service to guests during meals, and daily activities, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest cabins, common areas, and service spaces, adhering to high standards of hygiene.
- Meal Service: Assist in serving meals and beverages, ensuring timely and professional service in various dining settings.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including stocking and maintaining supplies in the interior and guest areas.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to maritime safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards onboard a foreign-flagged yacht.
- Crew Support: Assist with crew meals and general support to ensure smooth operations onboard.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Stewardess Qualifications: Relevant certification (e.g., STCW, ENG1) and training in hospitality or yachting.
- Experience: At least one season of experience as a Stewardess on yachts, with a strong understanding of high-end service and guest relations. Also with the ability to do housekeeping duties.
- Licenses/Work Authorization: Ability to legally work on a foreign-flagged yacht (appropriate visas or work permits if required).
- Hospitality Skills: Strong service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and discretion when dealing with high-profile guests.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in fine dining and knowledge of wine pairings.
- Familiarity with yacht-specific interior operations and equipment.
- Background in Housekeeping or service is a plus.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a proactive work ethic.

- Duration: Temporary – specific dates to be agreed upon.
- Location: Itinerary varies; flexibility to work in international waters.
- Compensation: Competitive daily rate, DOE (depending on experience).
