Overview
A 180ft Classic Feadship, US-flagged and operating under a mix of private and charter use, is seeking a full-time, non-rotational Chef. This is a long-term opportunity with a strong work-life balance and supportive crew culture.
Applicants may live ashore, provided they can participate in the vessel’s watch schedule as needed. The yacht runs with 8 full-time crew and expands to 10 during charter periods. The owners are gracious, American, and based in the South—known for treating crew with respect and appreciation for culinary excellence.
Itinerary
The yacht follows a consistent cruising schedule:
- ~6 months in Florida
- ~3 months in New England
- ~3 months in the Bahamas
The vessel also undergoes an annual yard period in Florida. This year includes a full galley refit, creating a modern, well-equipped environment for the incoming Chef.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef on yachts 40m+
- Strong culinary background in diverse cuisines
- Excellent time management and provisioning experience
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative mindset
- U.S. passport or legal permanent resident status required
