Overview
This course provide training in how to provide medical care to sick and injured persons while they remain on board a ship. It is aimed at those responsible for providing first aid on vessels operating worldwide and is a prerequisite for some certificates of competency.
NOTE: Proficiency in Medical Care certificates have to be renewed every five years by completing a refresher course.
Entry Requirements
Proficiency in Medical First Aid On Board Ship certificate.
Study Mode
5 days, full time at the NAFC Marine Centre, plus some study outside of classroom hours.
