RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship

Identical to the e-learning course but totally classroom based at SVYC, this two-day Course provides an introduction to chart work, collision regulations and meteorology. No previous knowledge required. It is totally classroom based. Included in the Course Fee is your RYA Student Pack, with practice charts, navigation tables, course notes, dividers and an RYA plotter. Or take the next step for chart work, collision regulations and meteorology. Day Skipper assumes limited previous knowledge. It is for those who will attend a Day Skipper Practical or Advanced Powerboat Course and is totally classroom based. Coastal Skipper takes you on a step further to the standard required for Yachtmaster entry. Included in the Course Fee is your RYA Student Pack, with practice charts, navigation tables and course notes. (Does not include navigation instruments, you require Portland Plotter and Dividers).
