RYA First Aid

RYA Small Craft First Aid.

The course runs from 09.00 to 17.00hrs.

Location : Classroom at the National Sport Centre. Nr Marlow (UK)

Course Structure

The course is structured to include in greater detail points relevant to sailing: hypothermia, drowning & treating injuries in a confined space. A copy of the latest edition First Aid Manual forms the course syllabus & is required for the course. If you require the Category C drug endorsement this can be achieved by some additional work at the completion of the course for an additional fee of £25.00.

Useful Information

The course involves some practical work so it is advisable to wear comfortable clothing and soft soled shoes.

Our classroom is easy to find from both the M4 and M40 by car. Public mainline railway stations are located in nearby Maidenhead or High Wycombe and we are only 35 minutes from London/Heathrow Airport.

A light light can be purchased at the onsite restaurant or you can bring your own.
