RYA Powerboat Instructor

All candidates for the level 2 powerboat instructors course must complete a pre-powerboat instructors skills assessment.

Please note this is an instructor course. You must be a competent powerboat handler.

During the course you will be expected to deliver lessons based upon the current Level 2 Course.

Pre Course requirements •All candidates must hold National Powerboat Certificate.

•All candidates must hold a valid first aid certificate.

•All candidates must be current Level 2 Powerboat Instructors.

•All candidates must hold the Advanced Certificate of Competence.

•All candidates must hold a VHF operator's certificate.

•All candidates should be competent to the standard of Dayskipper shorebased. It is desirable to hold this certificate.
