We are currently seeking a Marine Technician for one of the largest engine manufacturers.

 

Our client is well known as a brand within the sectors whose products offer quality, innovation, reliability and originality.

 

The purpose of this exciting role is to provide technical support for the business in relation to outboard engine preparation, diagnosis and repair to the highest standards, ensuring the best chance of positive product reviews, dealer support and customer satisfaction to drive customer retention and sales. 

 

Our ideal candidate will have keen interest in the marine sector whether that be through previous employment or within their personal life.

 

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the company’s fleets to the highest possible standard, reporting all defects to the Workshop CoordinatorMaintain workstations and complete all necessary supporting administration to a high standard (e.g. job card completion).Provide technical support with escalated Dealer cases including travel to Dealer to support diagnosis.Provide backup technical support for Marine Dealer Network via Technical Helpdesk / Phone.Support internal training of other team members within area of expertise.Inspect any accident damage on products, producing cost estimates and ensuring the correct technical recovery is implemented using diagnostic equipment.Maintain product awareness and a current understanding of technical product knowledge.Provide technical support at new model product launches and attend company promotional activities / exhibitions as and when required.Test the company’s products under the instruction of the company, in line with the procedures outlined in the test directive.Assist with technical training assessment courses and competitions in the Workshop.Maintain all aspects of Health and Safety within the Workshop at all times.If you’re looking for your next role with a great brand, fantastic culture and a fun place to work, we’d love to hear from you.
