An esteemed client in the marine industry, renowned for their innovative and high-quality jet tenders, is currently seeking a skilled GRP Finisher to join their dynamic team based in Oxford. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the finishing of world-class marine products, ensuring they meet and exceed the premium standards our client is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Finishing Excellence: Apply and ensure top-quality finishes on GRP components, adhering to strict quality standards.
Technique Application: Utilize various finishing techniques, including gel coat and flow coat application, sanding, and polishing.
Defect Rectification: Identify and repair defects in GRP components to ensure flawless finishes.
Quality Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Health & Safety: Uphold a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of finishing processes and product quality.
Candidate Profile:
Experience Required: Proven background in GRP finishing or related fields, such as paint spraying, prepping or polishing with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Skill Set: Proficiency in a variety of finishing techniques and familiarity with GRP materials.
Work Ethic: Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to perform under tight deadlines.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to innovative techniques and a fast-paced working environment.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the marine sector is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday - 7:30 - 3:30 with overtime paid at time and a half.
