Marine Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Boat Builder/Laminator for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a leading company in the marine industry.

My client specialises in the production of state-of-the-art military and commercial craft. They are currently seeking a Boat Builder/Laminator to join their production team and play a crucial role in crafting high-quality vessels.

Main duties to include:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings.

• Mix and apply gelcoats by hand.

• Perform gelcoat repairs and finishing tasks.

• Prepare moulds and apply release agents.

• Conduct hand lamination processes.

• Fit Balsa and PVC foam cores.

• Utilise vacuum bagging techniques.

• Apply basic joinery skills.

• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in boat building and laminating.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

• Effective planning and organisational skills, with a proactive and consistent approach.

• Proven track record in laminating and boat building.
