Area Sales Manager - Marine Equipment Division
Are you a driven, on-the-ground sales professional with a passion for travel and building strong client relationships? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our client's Marine Equipment Division.
About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you will be the face of the business, actively visiting clients and prospects throughout the UK, with a primary focus on the southern region, however there will be travel throughout the UK. You will spend the majority of your time on the road, meeting with both current and potential clients to drive growth and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Client Engagement: Regularly visit existing clients and new prospects, identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships.Market Expansion: Target and develop the non-retail marine sector, ensuring continuous growth in your area.Account Management: Conduct quarterly reviews with key accounts to maximize business potential and ensure customer satisfaction.Exhibitions & Events: Attend industry exhibitions both as a sales representative and to gather market intelligence.Reporting & Analysis: Provide senior management with regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights into market trends.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a field sales or area sales role, ideally within the marine sector.Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-driven approach.Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, particularly in the southern region.Ability to work independently while staying connected with remote teams.What We Offer:
