Silver Swan is actively seeking a Chalet Head Chef for our client in Morzine, France. The Chalet Head Chef will demonstrate a strong passion for innovative menu design and will take full responsibility for the main chalet kitchen, as well as overseeing the cuisine for the neighboring chalets. The ideal candidate will bring a background in fine dining and exceptional culinary flair to the role.
Responsibilities:
The Head Chef is responsible for developing creative and nutritious seasonal menus as well as the planning of all food prepared and served in the main chalet and neighbouring chalets, including breakfast, afternoon tea, children's food and a 5 course dinner each evening.
Conducting staff training regarding health and safety in the kitchen, food handling and presentation.
Maintaining and replenishing stock levels by liaising with appropriate suppliers and conducting a weekly shop.
Attending a weekly staff meeting to discuss new ideas and improvements.
Ideal Candidate:
This role includes lots of customer interaction so it is important that candidates have some experience in a customer-facing role, along with a passion to cook fresh ingredients.
A recognized catering qualification and experience

Dates: First week of December 2024 until Mid April 2025
6 day working week
Accomodation provided: private single bedroom close to the workplace

Ski and boot hire for the season
Salary: €800 - €1000 NET per week DOE
€150 provided to flights and transfers
