Silver Swan Recruitment is working exclusively with a family office in the hiring of a female butler for a VVIP residence in Doha, Qatar. You will be joining a recently placed male butler and 3 chefs who are all soon to start at the property. The household has a large team of household staff consisting of a F&B team, housekeeping team, team of chefs and a team of nannies. The role involves some travel of up to 4 x times a year.
As a Butler you will be experienced in service, be smartly presented with no visible tattoos or piercings and unfortunately will not have worked in the Middle East before.
You must have a UK or EU passport to be able to travel easily with the family.
Key Responsibilities
- Help to plan and oversee formal dinners and event
- Serve meals and beverages, ensuring proper etiquette and service standards
- Provide a room service as required
- Set and maintain dining tables, including table settings, floral arrangements, and decoration
- Coordinate with catering team for menu planning and execution
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival
- Ensure the family’s and guests' needs are met during their stay
- Oversee the care and organization of the employer’s wardrobe
- Liaise with the housekeeping to arrange for dry cleaning, tailoring, and repairs as needed
- Assist with packing and unpacking for travel
- Work closely with the nannies with the packing and unpacking for the children
- Perform any additional duties as requested by the employer
- Adapt to the changing needs of the household and its members.
Ideal Candidate
- Hold a EU or UK passport
- Have previous butler experience
- Not have worked in the Middle East before
- Be willing to work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day
- Fluent English
