Summary
We are seeking an experienced Captain to join a new build Rossinavi, Cayman flagged, 45m private yacht currently under construction in Italy. The vessel is scheduled to launch in October 2025. Starting in February 2025, the selected Captain will be required to relocate to Viareggio to oversee the final stages of the build.
The Chief Engineer has already been hired, and the remaining crew will be brought on closer to the launch date.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Captain on similar-sized yachts.
- Proven track record with new builds, ideally with hands-on involvement during the construction phase.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to build a cohesive crew.
- Energetic, personable, and professional demeanor.
Itinerary:
- Summer 2026: Mediterranean cruising.
- Post-summer 2026: Likely transition to the U.S.
The owners are fantastic and currently operate a 30m yacht, which they plan to sell once the new vessel is ready.
