Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Sole Engineer for a 38m motor yacht
Must hold a Y3 certification.
A B1B2 is essential, ideal for someone based in Florida.
Previous experience as a Sole Engineer on a similar-sized vessel ideally.
Highly experienced 2nd Engineer from larger vessels may also be considered.
Willingness to assist in all areas of the yacht’s operations, beyond engineering tasks, as needed.
Strong technical skills, proactive approach, and ability to troubleshoot independently.
Ability to work well within a small team.
Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial for assisting other departments when necessary.

Location: Florida-Bahamas
Salary: USD 7000
Leave: 38 days
Live onboard, except during paint shoots or other specific maintenance periods when external accommodation will be provided.
Vessel is completing a refit in Florida until January 2024. The vessel will then head over to the Bahamas to start its season.
