Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 40m+ motor yacht
Requirements
· Must hold a y2 or Chief Engineer 3000KW certification.
· Previous experience as a Sole Engineer on a similar-sized vessel is required.
· Highly experienced 2nd Engineers from larger vessels may also be considered.
· Willingness to assist in all areas of the yacht’s operations, beyond engineering tasks, as needed.
· Strong technical skills, proactive approach, and ability to troubleshoot independently.
· Ability to work well within a small team.
· Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial for assisting other departments when necessary.
· Experience with Italian builds a plus
· Warranty work experience beneficial
Start date: Dec’24/Jan ‘25
Location: Italy
Salary: industry Standard
Leave: 90 days

Private vessel based in the Med- Single season
