Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 45m+ yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Chief Engineer up to 3,000 kW (Merchant Navy) or Y3
- Proven experience in a similar role on yachts or commercial vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- AVIT/ETO knowledge
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: 15 December 2024 latest
Location: Cap D’Ail, France
Salary: EUR 5500
Leave: Rotation 2:2 rotation
Vessel Program and itinerary: Single season charter yacht
