The candidate specification
Are you ready to take the next step in your yachting career or showcase your leadership skills in a high-paced, guest-focused environment? We’re seeking a strong, experienced, and resilient Lead Housekeeper to join a busy dual-season yacht. If you thrive in a challenging yet rewarding role, this could be your next opportunity.
As the Lead Housekeeper, you’ll take charge of the housekeeping department, leading and managing a team with confidence. This role requires strong housekeeping expertise to maintain the yacht’s impeccable standards. You’ll also be responsible for managing inventories, packing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of all housekeeping duties. Additionally, this is a highly guest-focused role, where you’ll interact directly with owners and play a key part in delivering exceptional service.
We’re looking for someone who is either ready to step into a leadership role or already has experience managing a team. The ideal candidate will be strong, thick-skinned, and capable of handling the fast-paced demands of a busy yacht environment. Experience on similar-sized yachts is essential, and candidates must hold a B1/B2 visa, as the yacht will depart for the US in early February. Currently based in Barcelona during a yard period, the yacht plans to depart at the end of January. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take on extra responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
