The candidate specification
We are urgently seeking a Bosun to join a 40m private yacht. The yacht operates with a team of 3 in the deck department, and we are looking for someone with a confident and professional approach. As a Bosun, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the deck team, with a focus on operating the yacht’s 42ft tender.
A key requirement for this role is tender driving experience, as you will be driving the 42ft tender. This skill is non-negotiable, and we are looking for a confident and experienced operator. Additionally, watersports experience is required, as you will be assisting with various water activities. Fishing skills are a bonus but not essential for the position.
The yacht operates on a dual-season program, and a valid B1/B2 visa is essential for this position. We are looking for someone who can join the yacht as soon as possible and become an integral part of the team.
