Silver Swan is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Family Assistant to work for our client in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The client, a couple and their small dog require assistance primarily with housekeeping, household management, and appointment scheduling. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong organisational skills, flexibility, and proficiency in English (dutch would be advantageous).
We previously placed a candidate in this role a year ago who, unfortunately, must return to her home country due to personal circumstances. She will provide comprehensive training and ensure a smooth transition for the successful candidate.
Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU passport or the right to work in the Netherlands prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Manage household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shoe maintenance.
- Schedule and coordinate personal appointments.
- Provide remote assistance and support with online tasks if needed.
- Looking after their lovely small dog.
Ideal Candidate:
- EU passport required
- Fluent in English (Dutch will be advantageous), with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Amsterdam's local culture, amenities, and services.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
- Previous experience as a Family Assistant/housekeeping is a must.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Experience looking after pets.
Package:
- Salary: €2000 - €2500 net per month
- Start date: ASAP
- Accommodation provided - 1 bedroom recently refurbished nearby the property.
- Permanent, full time 40 hours per week
