Second Officer – 55m+ Private Motor Yacht (Caribbean, Immediate Start)
We are looking for an experienced Second Officer to join a 55m+ private motor yacht with an exciting Caribbean cruising itinerary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and hands-on professional with strong tender driving skills and extensive knowledge of deck maintenance.
As Second Officer, you will assist in navigation, passage planning, and safety management, while also taking a proactive role in deck operations, maintenance, and guest activities. You will work closely with the Chief Officer and Captain to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism on board. Strong tender driving skills are essential, as you will be responsible for guest transfers, water sports setups, and general tender operations.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Second Officer on similar-sized yachts, hold the necessary STCW, ENG1, and OOW 3000GT (or equivalent) certifications, and demonstrate a solid understanding of ISPS/ISM procedures, safety drills, and deck maintenance. A proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team are key to excelling in this role.
