We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 40m commercially registered motor yacht, which will initially be used as a private vessel for at least the first season. The yacht is expected to be ready and launched by June 2025.
The ideal candidate will have at least a couple of years of yachting experience. The Captain is open to considering experienced 2nd Engineers who are ready to step up. Experience with new builds would be an advantage. The candidate must be hands-on and willing to work as part of a team around the vessel.
This yacht belongs to first-time Owners. The current plan is to use the yacht only during the summer season and have it berthed in the West Med during the winter. The Owners are looking for a formal, high-standard environment onboard, with a professional crew that works together as a united team and is willing to help each other.
The yacht is equipped with MAN engines, Kohler generators, and full IDEA software.
Total crew: 8.
Single cabin.
Non-smokers and candidates without visible tattoos are preferred.
