Housing: Live on - you will have your own room and bathroom

Schedule: Depending on family’s needs. You will work 5 days a week, usually Sundays off and the other day will be during weekdays.

Overview:

A nice couple is searching for a dedicated and experienced Cook/Housekeeper to join their household for the summer. The couple has a daughter with 3 kids who visit sometimes for about a week. 

This position requires a professional with a strong eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a wealth of experience in maintaining a large estate. The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to excellence and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment.

There is a team of 3, house manager (HK), caretaker and cook/HK. 

Responsibilities: 

Housekeeping Duties: 

Handle daily housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization

Assist with other household tasks as needed, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the estate

Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the family and other household staff

Cooking: 

Prepare healthy, delicious meals tailored to the family’s preferences

No dietary restrictions - the couple has a cookbook, and they use it when they would like to eat something in specific. 

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar cook/housekeeping role, ideally within a private estate

Strong skills in cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and organization

A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude

A kind, courteous nature and ability to interact well with others

Honest, discreet, and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic, even when the client is not in residence.

Flexibility and Team Spirit: 

•Adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities as they arise.

•Physically fit to handle the demands of the role and well-groomed.

•Holds a clean driver’s license and is fluent in English.
