Deckhand/Mate in United States

Summary

Position:  DECKHAND/ MATE - experienced  

Legal to work in the US - US Citizen, green card, US work permit. 

Local FTL - yacht for sale so does not travel. 

It is a live aboard position as deckhand/watch stander. It is important that you are ok to sit at the dock. It does not travel. 

Ideal for someone that wants to stay in Ft. Lauderdale all of the time

Itinerary: FTL for sale. 

Qualifications: An experienced deck/mate that can work supervised and unsupervised. Doing projects, maintaining exterior, yard work, organizing, standing watch. Someone that will stay on board in FTL.

STCW

Current Marine Medical certificate - ENG1

Passport valid for minimum 6 months

YM ideally or USCG mate/master license 

tender driving +

Hands on deck

Watch standing, lines, fenders

Good attitude

Self starter

Works organized 

Good crew member

Fun to be around

PACKAGE: Industry Standard DOE. Medical insurance, etc. to be finalized during hiring process.  

This is best suited for a deck/mate that wants to stay local in FTL. There is also a stewardess on board and an engineer that will be on board some of the time.
