Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Sole Engineer for a 40m+ yacht
This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and experienced engineer who enjoys the dynamics of yacht maintenance, repair, and the charter season.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Y3 or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on yachts 40m+.
- Oversee daily engineering operations and maintenance of the yacht.
- Manage and maintain all technical systems aboard the vessel.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with the vessel’s operations during the Med charter season.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Charter experience a plus
- Shipyard experience is advantageous.
Start date: start of April
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 7500
Leave: 2:2 rotation
Vessel and itinerary – Vessel currently in Italy, summer charter season cruising the Med, followed by shipyard period in winter if vessel does not sell.
