Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Lead Deckhand for an 75m+ New Build motor yacht
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Lead Deckhand to join a 75m new build superyacht. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a fresh team from the start and help establish a high standard of deck operations. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual with previous experience on similar-sized vessels in a leadership role.
Requirements
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- PBL2
- 2-5 years previous experience in the deck department on 60m+ yachts
- Ready to step up to Bosun
Job description
- Supporting the deck team and assisting with crew leadership.
- Collaborating closely with other deckhands and ensuring teamwork in daily deck operations, including docking & mooring.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure the vessel is in top condition.
- Operate and maintain jet tenders.
- Work closely with the rest of the crew to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR to be discussed in interview
Leave: 30 days pro rata until vessel delivery, then 60 days a year once vessel is operational
Private yacht, will run a dual season programme. Delivery set for end of June 2025.
