Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand/Tender Mechanic for a 100m+ yacht
The Deckhand/Tender Mechanic is predominantly a deckhand function and will be expected to carry out the duties of a deckhand day to day. Additionally, they will be responsible for all matters relating to the mechanical maintenance of the tenders and PWC’s. They will work closely with the Tender/3rd mate to ensure to operational readiness of all the watercraft onboard and recording the service history in the vessels PMS.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- Marine mechanical background
- PWC, Powerboat Level 2
- Mechanical maintenance of tenders and PWCs
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Proactive mindset
- Great team player
Start date:End of May
Location:South Pacific
Salary: TBC
Leave: 3:1 Rotation (Paid 12 months)
