Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 60m+ yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 60m+ vessel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Y1 certification
- Proven experience in a similar role on similar sized vessels
- Benetti experience beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Hands on and proactive
- AVIT/ETO knowledge a plus
- B1/B2 visa required
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Budget management and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: 20 April
Location: Miami
Salary: EUR 10,000
Leave: Rotational time for time
Vessel Program and itinerary- Private and charter vessel. Dual Season.
