Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 65m yacht
We are recruiting a motivated and experienced deckhand to join a great crew for the upcoming busy charter season.
You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Charter experience is a plus
- STCW, PDSD, ENG1certificates in hand
- PWC is beneficial
- Yachtmaster or Deck Rating advantageous
- Strong tender and watersport skills
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Reporting to the bosun for daily tasks
- Proactive and positive mindset
Start date: 21 March
Location: Genoa, Italy
Salary: EUR 2750 DOE + tips
Leave: 42 days
Training: Annual training budget of EUR2000
13 month discretionary bonus
Vessel and itinerary – Busy summer charter season cruising the Med, followed by shipyard period in winter
