Requirements: Captain experience on similar sized vessels - Strong management skills.
Longevity and Positive References are extremely important. An outgoing personality, safety top priority. Active, happy disposition, motivator.
Good with a schedule that he/she creates, encourages, and maintains.
Good with maintaining longevity in crew and within budget.

Strong leadership skills - Leads by example - good crew retention

STCW + Refresher as needed

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months) - unrestricted

Working for an experienced yacht owner - They enjoy spending time onboard. The summer in New England and from Jan. - April in the Virgin Islands.
