Summary
Faststream Yacht Crew is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a seasoned 2nd Engineer to join a highly desirable 45m+ sailing yacht, currently based in Spain and operating a busy private/charter single-season program.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced yacht engineer, who is happy to lend a helping hand on deck, with 2–3 years of yachting experience, ready for their next challenge.
The yacht is well-run and highly regarded, with a fantastic crew dynamic and a busy summer ahead.
To be considered, you must hold:
- Valid STCW certification and seafarer medical (ENG1 or equivalent)
- MEOL or higher (e.g. EOOW)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in yachting (sailing experience preferred)
- Availability within 2 weeks
Please note:
- Due to cabin arrangements, only male candidates can be considered
- EU repatriation is preferred
In return, the vessel offers:
- Salary: €5,000–€5,500 DOE, plus equal share of charter tips
- 42 days of leave per year
- One return flight annually
