Officers applying for chief mates / master CoC for the first time must hold a Proficiency in Medical Care certificate not older than five years.

Teaching and Assessment: A mixture of theory and practical sessions theory and practical sessions.

Entry Requirements:

At least 16 Years of age. A Proficiency in Medical First Aid On Board certificate, or a Proficiency in Medical Care On Board certificate or its update.
