Summary
We are looking for a motivated Sole Chef to join a 45m newly built motor yacht that will be launching this year.
- This is an exciting project that is the final stages of build, the vessel will be dual season with plans to go to a variety of locations both on and off the beaten track.
- The yacht will be used frequently by the owners with them coming onboard to live for periods of time.
- The role will be full time during the build process and then will become a time for time rotational role after launch.
- Owners who are lovely to work for, they are very health conscious and live a very clean, healthy lifestyle. In an ideal scenario, the Chef will live their life like this too and have an interest in health and wellbeing. With the family spending a large amount of time onboard, they are keen to find someone who aligns with their values.
- The yacht will launch and finish the Med season before heading across to Central America and then cruise the Pacific.
- We need a Chef with a proven history as a Sole Chef. Ideally, you will either have 2 years of experience on a similar-sized vessel as well as a culinary background, or further experience as a yacht chef. This said, you must have good knowledge on vegan/vegetarian diets.
- Crew of 11, there is a nice dynamic within the team with various members having good longevity with the family.
- You will have to have your Ships Cook certificate in hand already.
- The salary will be depending on experience, but most likely sit between 7,000 - 8,000 euros.
- Start date will be in March.
