Superyacht Crew UK are seeking an experienced Deck/Dive Instructor. This is an incredible opportunity for a passionate dive instructor with strong deck skills to join a dynamic, adventure-focused yacht program. Traveling to some of the most remote and breathtaking destinations, including French Polynesia, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in both guest-facing and hands-on operational environments.
The Role This position is split between Dive Instruction/Equipment Maintenance and Deckhand duties, making it an ideal opportunity for a skilled diver looking to gain further deck experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and assisting with guest diving excursions, ensuring an exceptional and safe underwater experience.
- Maintaining and servicing dive equipment, including tanks, regulators, and compressors.
- Assisting with tender operations for dive trips and guest activities.
- Supporting the deck team with general duties, including maintenance, water sports, and mooring operations.
- Engaging in water sports activities, including jet skis, wakeboarding, and snorkeling.
- Helping to manage guest safety protocols, particularly related to diving and water activities.
- Stock management, ordering dive-related equipment, and ensuring gear is properly maintained.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Required experience: 1-2 years direct yachting experience.
- Qualifications: STCW, ENG1, PBL2, PADI Dive Instructor
- Due to cabin arrangements: Male
- Required Visa: Schengen (if required)
