An exceptional opportunity has opened aboard a highly sought-after 80ft Sunreef Power Yacht. This unique and innovative vessel features advanced systems typically found on much larger yachts, offering an exciting challenge for a motivated and capable First Mate/Engineer.
About the Program:
This dual-season program is distinctly structured:
- Summer: The yacht is privately used by the owners and based in the Northeast U.S.
- Winter: The vessel transitions to a busy charter season in the British Virgin Islands. Charter standards exceed those of yachts well over 100ft, making this a prestigious, high-performing program.
Following her return from the BVI charter season, the yacht will undergo a minor yard period at the end of April before heading north for a busy summer schedule.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident and experienced with docking procedures, particularly on wide-beam vessels; familiarity with spring line techniques and calling distances is essential.
- Possesses strong engineering and technical troubleshooting skills; the yacht’s systems are sophisticated and require a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Takes pride in being a supportive second-in-command to the Captain, contributing to smooth, professional operations across the board.
- Embraces sustainability—the vessel is entirely outfitted for impact-free operation and follows a holistically eco-conscious philosophy.
- Values a positive working environment—our owners are deeply invested in the wellbeing of the crew and maintaining a reputation for excellence.
