RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)

Personal Watercraft or Jet Skis are the ultimate in exhilaration. This course is for people who would like to learn how to drive a Jet Ski. It is designed for first time and experienced riders alike from 12 years old upwards. The course takes place over one day.

Course price: €295 + 21% IVA (excludes jetski)A

Course duration: 1 day

Minimum age: 12 years old. Riders aged 12 – 16 years old, must only use PWs under the supervision of a responsible adult

Pre-course experience / requirements: None

Course content: The course topics include: launching, handling and recovery skills, passage planning and decision making, high and low speed riding skills, essential safety information, collision avoidance and orientation at sea.

Course includes: Course certificate, RYA personal watercraft handbook, instructor, jet ski and safety boat hire, mooring and fuel.

Ability after course: Able to drive a jet ski in daylight and favourable weather conditions for in inshore costal use

What to bring with you: Wet suit, hat and gloves, sun visor, dry clothing, id/passport, passport photo and money for food & refreshments
