Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Head Chef for a 65m yacht
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing a galley on a dual-season charter yacht.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ previous Head Chef experience on similar sized vessels working with a Sous Chef
- Ship's cook certificate, F&H L3 and other relevant certificates
- Visa requirements - USA B1/B2, European Schengen if applicable
- The chosen candidate will have a 1 month trial period to ensure they’re a good fit before the busy charter season
Start date: 24 April
Location: La Ciotat
Salary: EUR 8100
Leave: Time-for-time rotation (8 weeks on/off).
Bonus scheme: 1 months' additional pay per year worked, capped at 4months' bonus
As the Head Chef will be returning from their time off end of May, you must take +/- 4 weeks unpaid holiday before starting next rotation mid July. During this first period onboard, you will gain enough knowledge of the boat, crew and operating systems to then jump right into the busy part of the season
Vessel Program and itinerary: Dual season charter vessel - La Ciotat shipyard until mid-May then summer charter season.
The vessel is currently for sale, however the priority is charters for the upcoming summer season.
